                           STEPPING INTO THE WORLD OF TECHNOLOGY


Hello, my name is Sanket Shukla, and I am a first-year student at VIT Chennai, pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). My journey in technology has just begun, yet I already find myself deeply curious about coding, quantitative computing, risk analysis, finance, and the business applications of technology. I believe that today’s engineer must not only code but also understand how technology drives industries — a vision that keeps me motivated.


Currently, my technical foundation lies in Python, Java, and JavaScript. These languages allow me to approach real-world problems with structured solutions. For me, programming is not just about syntax and logic — it is a toolkit to analyze, innovate, and build scalable systems.


Beyond academics, I engage in hobbies that have shaped both my personality and skill set: cricket, chess, badminton, music, and competitive gaming. Each of these has contributed uniquely to my growth. Cricket and badminton instilled discipline, teamwork, and perseverance; chess sharpened my strategic thinking and patience; while competitive gaming enhanced my quick decision-making and adaptability under pressure.


Among these, music holds a special place. Since the lockdown, I have been actively involved as a composer and ghostwriter, collaborating with multiple artists. This creative journey not only deepened my passion but also taught me collaboration, meeting deadlines, and attention to detail — values I find equally important in coding and business problem-solving.


Looking ahead, I aspire to refine my coding skills while exploring finance, quantitative analysis, and business strategy. For me, technology and business are two sides of the same coin, and my goal is to bridge them with impactful contributions.
